(More customer reviews)This isn't a toy for young kids nor is it meant to be.It's really geared for big kids/adults that want the next generation of slot cars with super detailed racing and the ability to race up to six cars at once!There is a very helpful online community as well as top notch customer service in the US.
The most common complaints are that there is a fairly steep learning curve (especially learning to how to properly maintain the cars and track) and the track itself takes up tons of space compared to the old tyco sets I grew up with as a kid.
These caveats aside I'm thrilled with my purchase and have never regretted my decision to go with SCX.Any problems I've had were promptly resolved by customer service and/or free replacements (for defective items)have been mailed to me in short order.Couldn't be happier!
