(More customer reviews)I don't post reviews until we have had a toy for a while so that I can judge durability and see how quickly the nostalgia wears off with my son. We've had this since December and it still receives a fair amount of play. The cars come in sleep mode, so you need to check the directions to get them to work properly (at first we thought they were broken).
The track has 5 or 6 different options for set up, but because of the way it is designed you can't create your own designs. The track pieces won't match up, at least I haven't discovered a design that works and it not on the directions page. The track is really easy to keep clean, just wipe with dry towel, which you need to do for the cars to run really well. The remotes are very easy to use, three modes... slow/fast on one button and turbo boost on another button. The tracks comes with obstacles that we like to set up for variation, but if the batteries are low in the cars they will begin to hit the obstacles and each other. I'm estimating that batteries need changed after about 8 hours of play.
The biggest issue we have is that the remotes work from sensors in the front of the car, so if the car is moving away from where you are sitting it will not always respond to the turbo button, which frustrated my son at first, but he is used to it now. Overall it was a good purchase; we have fun with this toy.
