Don't think it's just for teenagers, though.My thirty-something brother-in-law had the same experience the previous year.

Great for novice puzzlers, kids or just to set on the side of your desk, this puzzle present a nice easy challenge. Large sized pieces are well made and perfect for anyone including those with a visual impairment. Not a lot of parts to keep up with so little worry about tracking down pieces. I own a LOT of these puzzles and enjoy each immensely so see my other reviews for a break down on difficulty level, quality of workmanship and more.

(More customer reviews)This costume looks good in the picture, but it's very poorly made and they are showing the wrong helmet.The helmet shown in the picture is not what you get.The helmet in the picture is the one they sell separately for $90.The one you get with this costume is two plastic pieces that you are expected to hold together with a couple of pieces of velcro stickers that fall off as soon as you open the bag.No chin strap either.

I haven't yet watched someone try and take it apart but I think it will be great fun this Christmas. The other wine puzzles I purchased were very hard to put together so I'm not sure I did. We even looked up a video of it on You Tube, and still couldn't get it on right. I was very disappointed in the bottle puzzle, especially since my friend got it open in 2 seconds. Would not recommend!

(More customer reviews)This is so much fun.We brought it to a family party this spring, and everyone loved it.What was great about it was that everyone could play it and did. Everyone would gather around and watch the game...

It seems so simple, yet when you start playing, it is not so simple to win. Loved that the entire family could play, from 88 year old grandpa to 8 year old great grandchild, in fact, they played one another, they tied.. grandpa won two and she won two.. they were going for the tie breaker, but the rest of the family wanted to play, so we had to agree to let them settle the score another day.

We all had a blast with DAO... I'll be getting more of these for the rest of the family.. soon!

(More customer reviews)My sister-in-law gave this to my daughter for Christmas, but she and I had the most fun with it. The songs are recognizable (Celebration, Forever Your Girl, Shout, I Think We're Alone Now, and 15 more) and the steps are challenging. We had fun trying to top each others' scores. The foot sensors might be more suited for kids (we both sometimes missed the back), so I'm researching one I can get myself for exercise. Everyone, from the littlest kids to grandma, wanted a turn and it was a lot of fun. Excellent product!

(More customer reviews)This is the third in a series of seven themed puzzles from the "Sacred Myths and Legends" line put out by Family Games, Inc.Each puzzle can be solved alone, but each one also provides clues to the solution of the next puzzle in the series, leading up the seventh puzzle (to be released in late 2009) which incorporates elements from all the previous ones.

This series of puzzles is great for adventure-loving, intellectuals who want to escape into a Robert Langdon/Indiana Jones motif for a while.Each package includes a beautiful, high-quality, wooden puzzle which requires solving to reveal a secret scroll, which will then provide clues to a password which needs to be entered on the companies website to unlock an extra clue for the next puzzle.Each of these clues takes the form of a riddle.

Each puzzle in the series has it's own theme (Da Vinci is one, Atlantis is another, King Arthur, etc.) and the clues all pertain to the theme of the puzzle you are on.The incorporation of the internet slightly removes you from the role-playing element of these puzzles, but once you see how difficult these passwords are to figure out,you will most likely be spending hours on the internet anyway - trying to decipher the clues. The passwords are actually much more difficult than the wooden puzzles (as a general rule) and will sustain you LONG after you have already solved the physicalpuzzle.However, the difficulty level of these riddles is EXTREME (in most cases), so be prepared to educate yourself thoroughly regarding the mythological or historical theme at hand.

That is not to say that the PUZZLES are easy, however.Most of them require a great deal of effort to finish, even after you know what the solution is supposed to be.And there are no instructions with these puzzles.There is usually one clue per puzzle and it is left up to the player to figure out what needs to be done.As I said, these are definitely aimed at an intellectual audience.

The third puzzle in the set is called "The Legend Of The King" and has a King Arthur motif.Pieces from the 2nd puzzle will help you to solve this puzzle, but are not required.Unlock the secret scroll (and a clue to the next puzzle) by finding the right position of the posts on the tower.

Some of the puzzles in this set will take you less time than others (most can be solved in a day or two, sometimes much less...but some of them took me weeks), but the passwords will keep you going for quite a while, regardless of how fast you solve the puzzle.Another great thing about these puzzles is the fact that they look great on a display shelf ...and house-guests are always intrigued by a good puzzle.

One warning about playing these puzzles - if you search internet forums for help with the passwords, YOU WILL SEE SPOILERS and it could ruin it for you.I would highly recommend avoiding those forums altogether (until you are ready to give up anyway).Otherwise you run the chance of spoiling the mystery for yourself.

Seriously, the disappointment you'll see in the eyes of the recipient of this useless hunk of plastic & cardboard will bring tears to your eyes.Unless you're cruel, and you give it to that nephew that you don't like much.

The experience start with a visit to the web site to get the installer."You need javascript and flash", you're told.Fine, except that I happen to have flash installed and javascript enabled.Well, that's OK - let's try the link that says "Download Swypeout".You'd think that might work right?

Of course not."Server not found".Luckily, there's a CD in the package.Let's try that.

Ha ha, you eternal optimist you.

Pick the "Default Install".Hey, maybe this thing will work!

"Uninstall Complete".Uh, sorry, weren't we installing?Never mind that, let's see if there's anything installed. Oh look, we have an icon for the program!Double click, and hope for the best.

You held onto your bubble stocks until they were worthless, didn't you?

There's a brief flash, then an error:You need an upgrade, but your computer isn't hooked to the internet!Bet you didn't know that, did you?Except that it is, and so you're only option at this point is to go to amazon and try to warn others away.
