(More customer reviews)The GPV-1 Motorcycle by Venom is a great product.You get alot of technology and performance for a cheap price.This was my first purchase of an R/C Motorcycle and I did my research before I bought it.It come highly recommended from 2 Wheel R/C enthusiast.Its great for a beginer as it is quite durable.I crashed it about 100 times on my first few battery packs before i got the hang of it (This motorcycle is probably not for children) and only broke one little body mount on top.Venom makes an alloy replacement for it that i think will take much more abuse befor it goes.This would also be great for the R/C Motorcycling vetran.How fast do you want to go?From Brushless systems and sticky race compound tires to full alloy and carbon fiber replacement parts, there is a very healthy aftermarket for this R/C. 5 Stars all the way!!!!Great job Venom!

23" Balaenoptera Musculus Radio Remote Control Racing Boat (colors may vary) Review

(More customer reviews)This is a very fun, fast little boat.I am enjoying it very much.Easy to put together (battery pack, install the antenna mast (a plastic tube), and screw in the antenna on the sending unit.)It goes fast and is easy to control.

Controls are very simple, really just two switches:left engine one/off and right engine on/off.The control box has:go, forward on the left control and right or left turn on the right control.The left control switches both engine to full on (no throttle control, just full-on/off) and the right control shuts off one engine or the other (left or right), to turn.It turns quite tightly (without a rudder.)But by "pulsing" the left or right control, you can make the boat execute broader turns.It gets up and planes almost instantly.It's quite fast.At the beginning of a full charge, it might be doing the advertised 25 mph.15 mph is more like it most the time.

The good:Price!Runs well, easy to use, seems to have good RF range, fast, tough hull, ships very little water.Be sure to pour out the water and leave it open to dry out between runs.

The negative:Short battery life.I'd guess I'm getting 15 minutes of operation with a full charge.It takes about 5 hours to charge.I have been looking for spare battery packs and couldn't find any.I ended up buying parts and I will be making my own battery packs (try BatterySpace.com and Radical RC online.)Runs on a set of 6 standard "Sub C" cells, wired in series, with a shrink wrap around it and a connector used for Tamiya RC cars.The RC hand unit requires 8 AA cells.

I did have to replace the front and read differential gears after the second drive, which really sucked.
I couldnt drive it for three weeks till the parts came in, But HPI did replace them for free.
After that fix this truck is almost indistructable.

This truck is so much stronger and better built that the Revos,
My buddies drive Revos and break something after every other use
HAHAH!

(More customer reviews)It is a good boat, fast, agile and good looking... but you can only ride it 15 min, and then take it out and charge the battery for four hours, there were the fun stops. This seems to be a general issue on battery boats, i guess that if you wanna use it longer than that you need to buy something with gas.

Lasted about 5 minute because the screw came off the prop. we lost the screw, prop, and the shaft. contacted the company for replacment part. they only has the screw and prop. and it would cost me[....]plus shipping. I felt like I has really been gypped. boat was only a fifty dollar boat but with shipping it was around sixty. the sad part was my eleven year old grandson saved his allowance to buy this boat and it was junk and the company does not stand behind their product.

A major point not noted in the instructions is that the motors in this boat only run when the boat is in the water (safety issue I presume).
Other than that, it's fairly high quality, quite durable (survives head-on crashes into the side of a swimming pool at full speed), and runs for about 15 minutes on a charge if you use the throttle modestly. And yes, this thing hauls !
